LiWin Fires Back At Critics After Winning Two Ghana Movie Awards
LiWin has fired back at critics who claim he is no longer relevant after winning two awards at the 2026 Ghana Movie Awards, insisting his latest achievement proves his impact in the entertainment industry remains strong.

Ghanaian actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LiWin, has responded to critics who claim his relevance in the entertainment industry has faded.
The actor’s reaction comes after he picked up two awards at the 2026 Ghana Movie Awards, despite being unable to attend the ceremony on June 7, 2026, because of ill health.
In a video shared on social media on June 8, LiWin said the awards were proof that his work still speaks for him.
“I’ve not said anything yet, but I will speak at the right time. Those who said my time has passed, I won’t say anything now,” he said.
He questioned why anyone would suggest he was no longer relevant when he had just received two major awards.
“I’ve received two awards and you think my time has passed?” he asked.
LiWin also addressed people who have been comparing him to other entertainers, saying such critics should take note of his latest achievement.
“Those yapping and comparing some people to me, adding that I’m no longer relevant, should come and see the awards I received. If I’m no longer relevant, would I be winning two awards?” he said.
The actor further declared himself the best in the industry while thanking fans who voted for him.
“I’m the best actor and there’s nothing you can do about it. Thanks to everyone who voted for me,” he added.
LiWin expressed optimism about the future and said he is praying for even greater success, including Ghana winning the World Cup.
The Kumawood star remains one of Ghana’s most recognizable screen personalities, with a strong fan base built through years of acting, comedy, film production, and social media engagement.
